Lady Pink, Ron English and crash One are three prominent 1980s New York City graffiti artists who competed for visibility while using the public spaces as their canvas. At the forefront of the street art movement, they found themselves catapulted into the world of fine art, exhibiting their work in galleries in New York and internationally, and cementing their status as pop culture personalities. Soon collaborating with well-known brands their work became an everyday part of contemporary culture.
Now, four decades later, their street aesthetic lives on both as inspiration for younger generations of taggers and in their own careers as highly successful, iconic international artists.
